Everything in the world can be used for evil and holiness - it depends on how it is used and abused- like drinking wine for religious purposes or getting drunk - like using knowledge to heal or to destroy.
The internet has this same potential - it can spread the message of doing good or it can lie and spread evil - G-d gave us humans the freedom of choice how you want to behave.

First, It's only evil when evil people use it.
Second www is not "666" in Hebrew. (the Hebrew letter "Vuv", but that would be "V V V", not "W W W", but again, while "V" represents the number 6, you didn't take into account the place holders. The gamatria is not only the numeric value of a letter, but also it's position within the word.)
Third, which OT Scriptures?

I think there's a lot more to relating something to Gematria and the Old Testament, then just dragging out random characters of an abbreviation and correlating it to the "supposed" mark of the devil.
Which method of the four are you using to calculate this? (absolute, ordinal, reduced, or integral reduced). The Gematria doesn't relate, and is incorrect.
In any case:
I believe the Internet has both positive and negative qualities, depending on how you choose to spend your time. I've found it to be a great informational resource, yet in the same regard, I have watched quite a few people waste their lives away in it.
Pros:
- Increases communication between family, friends, cultures and societies worldwide.
- Plethora of dedicated information open to the public
- It allows the completion rate of tasks to increase greatly
- Shopping for rare/certain items becomes much easier
- Chat allows thinking in a real-time environment that allows one to process things quicker
- People are able to voice opinions more freely
Cons:
- Extensive use of chat use tends to lower people's reading/writing comprehension skills
- Loss of exercise due to excessive use can/will cause weight gain
- Hacking/Security/Identity Theft/Virus/Trojan threats
I can't think of anymore at the moment, but it's a toss up either way. It's really a matter of personal opinion.

The internet is truly the freedom of speech.
I say not evil and I don't think 666 means a dam thing.

I think that if it were up to religion, we would just be sitting around naked reading a fictional book about a fictional chracter. Things are not evil, depending on how we use things, then one can determine if it will be to harm someone or to help someone. My point for that statement is this example: People think that religion is good, but how many people have died or been killed in the name of god. Does killing for god make religion good or bad? It's all in the way you interpret things that make something good or bad. If you have internet, then use it!!!!

I think that makes no sense at all. The internet is not evil. People on the internet can be evil.

No the internet is not evil. The internet is a "tool". People who use the internet could be evil.

Well, considering that you still use it after learning that then it can't be that bad.
World Wide Web, any other definition is rediculous. Evil, ha, that was a funny one.
