america is multi cultural with jews muslims and people from other religious groups, jesus represents just the christian face of america but kennedy reflects the national sentiment. so i guess he is more popular.

Kennedy was a real person proven to exist. Jesus, on the other hand, is an unproven existance. So the two cannot be evaluated against each other.

jesus is more popular. most peopl do not like kennedy. he comes up more on websites, because politicians pay internet fees to have their sites come up as a priority on searches... your tax dollars at work..they arrange multiple links to increase traffic to their pages.
jesus does not do this. he figures if you want to find him, look in your heart and your bible.
