My kids know better!! I dont have to hit my kids, they respect me. Just like everyone else around here! No one touch my kids even if they did throw water on them but my kids know better!! You create a discipline environment where the child knows there will be consequences and then you do not have to spank them. They know it will be coming if they dont behave and they will want to behave!

What some kids do at the mall , they did not learn at home . Peer pressure and immaturity makes them cave in to "entertain" their friends .Some kids will do anything for a laugh ; but if my kid ever bothered someone in that way -he would hear about it . If I were you I would not go to a mall that does not have good security . What those kids did was criminal ; but it was really not about you. You just happened along and it could have been any one of us . Don't worry -what goes around comes around . Let's hope they get caught before it's bullets next time . What happened to you was an assault and should have been reported to mall security .

The parents should have done something. Tell you they're sorry and tell the kid something too. My kids don't act like that. I don't know why some people say kids will be kids. If more parents took a little responsibility for their kids actions maybe the world would be a little bit nicer place to be. Parents can and should teach their kids manners!!!

Some parents are unable to disiplen their kids for many reasons some of the major reasons can range from that their parents were overly mean to them so they wish to be better, to its their only kid and they can never have another. but from the side that your on having to put up with their bad behaivour its best that a calm approach to the mother or father and let them know of their kids behaivour then i am sure they would usally do the right thing.

Many parents have abdicated their parenting responsibilities. They are afraid to step up to the plate, tell their little darlings 'no' and back- up their words.
The things you see in public either are infuriating or will break your heart-behavior on both the kids and the parent's side. As hideous and aggravating as a child's actions can be, DON'T TOUCH THEM! For your protection, not theirs. You could be charged with battery, or worse.
My children were taught not to beg or whine for things in public, they kept their hands to themselves, and if they had even approached that sort of behaviour they would have been disciplined so fast it would make your head spin.
There are no valid excuses for a parent not training their children.

Although I'm not a mother yet, if that were my kid, I'd immediately give him/her a swat on the behind! I don't care if a mother has had "Mother 101," but if her kids acted like that and she did nothing, I'd have something to say to the mother.
This reminds me of a story my pastor told us one time. He was in Home Depot, and there was this kid with his dad. The kid was screaming and yelling, "Stupid Daddy!" and flailing his toy around. Well, my pastor was nearby, and the kid just hit him with his toy! So my pastor goes to the kid, takes his toy, and pops him on the head. The dad, who did nothing the entire time, just stood there. After my pastor was finished with the kid, he turned to the father and gave him "The Look" and left. Nevertheless, the kid continued to scream, "Stupid Daddy!!" *shakes head*

i swift kick usually does the trick. or accidently spray pepper spray in their direction. But parents these days are becoming a bunch of pansies with new laws that prevent spanking cause its a form of physical abuse and you cant raise your voice its considered verbal abuse. If it went back to the old days where the belt/paddle or anything that can be used for swinging on the buttocks things would be alot diff. I still remember the belt across my butt and it kept me in check after all these years

Thats exactly what I think. I may be 12, but I can not stand kids who don't have manners, are spoiled, and do not respect people older than them. I hate it.

i dont know why they did it to you, just being kids i guess, but before you go and slap someones kid you'd better make sure that they are not one of mine!!! otherwise you WILL get slapped back if not worse. grow up and enjoy life before its too late and get on with your life and stop worrying about a little water!!!

If I teach my kids some manners, will you go take some English classes? Your spelling and grammar are completely awful.
