If we could build a ball made of perfect one way mirrors with the reflective side facing in so that light got in but never got out again what exactly would happen as more and more light built up. Also for the sake of argument say this ball is also capable of withstanding great amounts of heat. Kinda like a magnetic containment bubble for light waves and particles.

No, it would not make a black hole because photons have no mass and it is mass than makes a black hole, not energy.

By the way, a one way mirror is just a 50% reflective mirror with a dark room on one side. There is no special reflective coating that is a kind of one way valve, or only reflective on one side. If someone in the dark room turns on a light, you can easily see through it both ways. I know this from experience. Actually, you can always see through it both ways, but if one side is in a dark room, there isn't enough light coming from that side to notice.

Sure, if the ball could withstand INFINITE amounts of energy. Also, the ball would have to be as large and dense as a black hole to have the gravity to attract matter. Otherwise, it's just a battery.

No it would not create a black hole as would have no gravity. light would get in and heat would be created until heated air pressure exploded the ball

no it would not make a black hole because it has no gravitational attraction toward objects. it would just fill with heat until it reached it's meltdown point and have a small meltdown maybe explode because of pressure building up due to the energy stored inside

no

not unless you have a very very very huge gigantic ball

this would just make the ball extremly hot due to the heat going only in

I used to wonder when I was a kid what would happen if mirrors were directed like that.
