15 yrs of smoking. recently quit it . my BP is130/80 Is BP reversible w/o medicins?can i get back the quality of my arteries by life styl changes which i am going following now?

Yes, believe it or not, the arteries can change for the better once you stop smoking, get off the patch, and don't do any type of nicotine. If you lose some weight and eat healthier, then I see no reason as to why you wouldn't be able to drop your blood pressure at least 10 points systolic and diastolic, unless you also have kidney disease. Exercise and healthy lifestyle does a lot for our bodies as I'm sure you know, and even though it may take a few years to reverse the damage, at least you are on the right track.

Yes somewhat. A healthy diet and exercise regimen is the beginning. To clear your arteries you may try a omega -3 complex and oatmeal, whole grains etc. Blood pressure exercise lose weight and just eat healthy stay away from fast food. Drink plenty of water or diet green tea.

No the damage of smoking is permanent but you are preventing more damage by the changes you are making now. You BP is not terrible and will probably go down even more now that you stopped smoking.

5 Yrs after u quit smoking arteries come to normal.
