Al Franken is an intelligent and successful comedian. In terms of politics he is in a large group of people who are spinmisters and propagandists. As with others such as Teddy Kennedy, Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter, Michael Moore, and many others seem to believe that their fame makes them experts to market their blatherings.
In fact, truth means little to these individuals and they use their time in the media to market themselves. The sad thing is that anyone listens to them.
