Ever heard of Peace through superior fire power? Look I don't like the idea of this, but in general I'm not a fan of pain, death, carnage. These things make me ill. The fact is though, a lot of times we're fighting people who don't care if they die. That's a really hard fight to win. Considering my husband is a soldier, other than purposefully killing innocent civillians, I'm a fan of most things that will get or keep my husband and his guys outta there. Also, though I'm sure our millitary and government is studying things like this and wouldn't flinch much in using them, I would want a little more varification before I believed this one completely. Ya know, some world recognized news organization...they are not biased right??? LOL

Probably not. But then who knows for sure. This sounds like what comes out when kids used to play the game telephone.

The government has been working on a directional beam that causes temporary extreme discomfort to the skin as a means of non violent riot control.

Also non violent is a intense strobe the causes loss of muscle control.

Imagine what would happen after either these stories passed through enough people. You get a death ray that can pass through 10 feet of concrete and kill with pinpoint accuracy from space while leaving no trace. I doubt such a weapon exists but I could certainly think of some uses for it.
