They may have the fewest dropped calls, but they also probably have the fewest calls. :-P You can scew statistics to make them sound better than they really are. They don't say 'we have the smallest percentage of calls dropped.'

I have cingular and yes drop calls do happen. I have much better service than verizon. So I'll deal with that drop call situation before I get no signal. Nextel there is no signal where I am at either.

I totally agree! I have a Cingular for work and can't use it half the time because when I DO have signal (which doesn't seem to be often enough!), it ends up dropping the call! I have a Verizon also and it almost NEVER drops the call, unfortunately work doesn't pay for THAT one! lol!

When my calls are dropped (which is frequently) the display on my phone indicates I'm still connected even though I can't hear or say anything. I think that's how Cingular can get away with it, since technically I'm still "connected".

Hah, I am glad to see I'm not the only one! Yes, I think it's funny how they claim to have the fewest dropped calls when every five minutes I have to call someone back.
Personally, I've had the best experience with T-Moble. They're decently priced and I only had, maybe, 3 dropped calls total.

I had a 14 day trial period with them. I only needed 2 of those 14 days because I couldn't even get a signal to have a call made or dropped!
