It's the rich ones who control and profit from exploiting the poor in the middle east that feel threatened by the political and spiritual and economic freedoms represented by the West. They are the ones who decree with religion's authority that America is to blame for every ill and hardship their own primitive and oppresive regimes are responsible for. They are the ones who orchestrate and finance the hostilities. Like many rich people all over the world, they have the minds and morals of criminals. Religion is simply a tool to be used for their own ends and a shield to hide behind because as well as everything else, they're cowards.
