Skipping meals does not help you lose weight - if anything, the more you skip your food the more the fat will store in your body.
You need to have a healthy diet, do plenty of exercise.. and you can do that without going to the gym. While you walk around, try holding your stomach tense for a few counts, then let it out, and repeat this.. its a good way to get your stomach muscles going. Also, try building up a routine of situps and twists everyday.

If you really don't want to go to the gym, maybe try an exercise dvd at home? Skipping meals is the worst thing you can do, your body needs to burn a certain amount of energy to function properly. I'm living the GL diet (google it!)at the moment, and am taking Pilates and Gyrotonic classes, and it's really helped my health- and figure!

Do crunches. They work great. After I gave birth I had a bit of a belly, not to mention the extra skin. Lotion always helps with the reducing of extra skin after you flatten your tummy, depending on how big your tummy is.

a high protein diet is the only way to rid yourself of belly flab. for instance, have 2 or 3 proteins daily (4oz. to 6 oz. portions of chicken, lean beef, or 1/2 c. cottage cheese), only 2 fruit servings daily (1/2 c. strawberries, or 1/4 melon, or 1/4 blueberries, 1/2 banana = 1 srv), 3 srvs of veggies daily (1/2 c cooked or 1 cup raw = 1 srv. avoid sugary peas, corn, beets and no dry beans); limit starches to 2 srvgs daily (1/2 baked potata, 1/4 c. cooked rice, or 1/4 pasta), and about 3 good fats daily-like 1 tsp. olive oil, or 6 whole almonds-not margerine, or creamy pasta sauces. If you stick to something close to this, and drink 8 glasses of water at 8 oz. each per day, and get off your booty and walk 1/2 hour daily, you'll loose your belly fat! i did.

Tuck your tummy in and try breathing using your chest instead of your tummy. It involves discipline. Also, while sitting, do not slouch. Sit with your back straight and tuck your tummy in. Do this constantly and at all times. Remember, it involves discipline. In time, you'll be rewarded with the results that you want. :-)

Either do some exercise or have a tummy tuck, no easy way out of this.
