The Mets did this to the Cubs on Sunday, and my son and I were wondering about this event's rarity. There's nothing on the Wikipedia list of rare baseball events, apart from Tatis -- but his is an individual event, not a team event.

i wager there is better than one participant, because Nomar Garciaparra also did it!!! He changed into my well-known participant on the crimson Sox before he were given traded.. I actually were given to bypass to his hitting sanatorium even as i changed into 11 and that i met him :) Edit: God people what's with the thumbs down. Nomar DID hit 2 grand slams in an inning, I own a bio of him and it frickin' says. Sheesh.

From what they said as I watched the METS spank the CUBS on ESPN Sunday night baseball, it has happened 7 times.
