I think its very hard to label anybody as the greatest wrestler of all time. Bret Hart was an amazing wrestler. No doubt about that. But personally, i'd have to go with Ric Flair. Not just because of his wrestling ability. But because of his long career and the dozen of great matches he has showcased. But I do agree that Bret Hart was an amazing wrestler, and while I think Ric Flair is the best, I honestly think you can't peg anyone with that title.

No, I don't think he is. You have to factor in two elements - performance and persona.
In performance, Hart was powerful, skilled, but never explosive. His persona as "The Hitman" was one of sullen, humorless arrogance. Which was, let's face it, not much of an acting stretch.
As far as choosing "the greatest Wrestler", I think you have to look for longevity as well, and how much they've contributed to the...well, I was gonna say "sport", but let's stick with "business".
On that basis, I'd lean toward Hulk Hogan's career. And certainly The Undertaker, who's maintained his active career for over a decade using one of the most intense, and popular, personas ever created.

He definetely belongs in the top group including Hogan, Flair and Austin. It's so hard to pick any of those 4 over the other although I'd probably say Stone Cold goes 4th and Flair, Hogan and Bret are the top 3 in any order.

No wait, wrestling isn't stupid and fake. Wrestling is real, WWE is fake. You can go to your backyard and do some wrestling over there, and the stuff seem real right? Without script or something is real okay? Anyway, Bret, it is quite hard to say who is the best wrestler if WWE is scripted. He is not the best, no one is actually, it is hard to see who is the best, they are either equal or lower... Bret is talent and for real, just like Angle, he would like to wrestle Angle sometime, it says on Wikipedia, anyway, WWE had like so many wrestlers so it is really hard to say who is the best and who is not.

he is one of the top 3 greatest technical wrestlers of all time i'll give him tht, but i feel tht ric flair is an evn better technical wrestler thn bret hart. sure ric flair fought dirty sometimes but thtz how he is, he still knew how to slap on tht figure 4 whn he had to to pick up the well deserved win, but hart is right up there.

He is definately one of the best their ever was and one of the best their will be but to say he is the greatest is a bit of stretch
