Intelligence can be percepted in many different ways.

It's best to first choose a category that interests you before doing any reading/research on the subject. Read about the subject as much as you can, check your informational resources, and listen to what people's thoughts and opinions are when it comes to controversial questions in that particular field.

Try things that are new and different in your spare time, and learn whether you appreciate them or not.

If you want to get better at verbal competence for example, read a word from the dictionary everyday and use it verbally, or in a sentence. If you want to get better at music, practice your chords.

Most importantly, have faith in yourself and your abilities to understand/comprehend subjects. What may be defined as intelligence to some, may be ignorance to others. Make sure that you value your own worth, and personal opinion before asking something of this nature. :)

keep yor mouth shut and your ears and eyes open. Wisdom is the key to intelligence. But try reading the encyclopedia from Ato Z, that's what I did. you'll learn so many things. Also read and memorize 10 new words a week, and there definitions. The dictionary the same way. And reader's digest has the Word Power-great stuff to test yourself on.

Aaaa....intelligence,the one thing everyone is looking for without them even knowing it most of the time.
Well, you can't become intelligent,no matter what you do,you can only become more educated and get more knowledge, but it is indeed impossible to become intelligent.........you are simply born with it or not.
So,there you have it!
