Please where has the bar which one typed in a web address gone?

Where has the box one used to type in a Web address gone? I do not want to type in a web address in the search box every time I wish to visit a site. Please bring it back at once.

go to view> toolbars > address bar ( this is the bar )

Right click any blank spot in the menu bar and select the toolbars you want.
