Well since we are in the days of always having cell phones, I would immediately dial 911 and leave the line open for the police to track it and get out asap.

Call the police to remove the remains. My 120 lb. wolf would have taken care of them! She does not bark she hides under a table next to the door and jumps out at people!

Run, scream and reach for something in case I needed to defend myself. But if there was some scarey background music I might go and investigate like in the films!
