Yes, I feel the same way. It's information overload and a society which is driven by consumerism and greed.
Oh, and if you havn't already got kids you'll really know what it's like when it comes to working out how to use their toys and games. Then you wont have any time to relax at all.
My advice is to take one step at a time and weed out all those useless and meaningless things in our lives e.g watching time wasting TV shows, reading junk mail etc. as for relaxing set aside a certain time each week for something special like a glass of wine or whatever.

Maybe it's the climate change. We're all slightly bewildered. Some of us are completely bewildered, but keep on giving advice anyway. There are two kinds of helpful people: those who provide light, and those who know their way around in the dark.. I think the older I gett, the more I fall into the second category. You too?

What line of wok are you in? Sounds to me like you are prety stressed out, ever concidered taking a vacation? But i mean a REAL vacation. Not the weekend spot in the next town, i mean really getting away. Travelling. Remembering what it is to experience and learn something new, the beauty of an impulsive decision.
I'd hate to sound like Dr.Phil, but i think you really need some "you" time!
Think about it, use it don't use it..up to you!

For me the solution was simple: I swallowed my pride and asked one of my kids. They don't even seem to need instructions for all these high tech devices. They just seem to know instinctively how they work. There are still manuals. You just have to get them online and print them out. *L*

Take it slowly, one day at a time. You'll never catch up but it doesn't matter because the next day everything will have changed yet again.

making and using of products are indeed getting much more complicated. This is good thing. we are becoming much more intelligent than ever before.

at times the only thing, though is to relax so as to get on top of it all.

Don't worry, you still have your experience of life which is irreplaceable and this, computer can't give them that and people will still come to you and seek for advice.
