I left a suitcase in lourdes france how can i get it sent to darmstadt germany?

the hotel staff has tried fex ex dhl and ups to no avail

I am surprised that the hotel staff could not send it by DHL. Why wouldn't you double check with DHL yourself?

Another option would be Chronopost - a French company affiliated with the post (http://www.fr.chronopost.com/).

You should try by the train company. 15 years ago you could send a suitcase by train from a french tren station to another. I think that is still the same. And may be it works from France to Germany.
