Wal-mart is to us as water is to fish, they are bigger better and more powerful than the U.S. government. They can do whatever they want and get away with it, yes what they do is invasive, but it's pointless because 90% of us will spend at least 75K there in a lifetime, but shh...they are reading this now. So you better say good things or the smiley face is going to get you !

Well I guess it's just a matter of opinion. Wal-mart here in LAfayette, IN is a nice place to go. I've lived here my whole life and it all depends on what you like and where you go. Not every Walmart is the same!!! We have a town about 15 miles from Laf. and their Walmart SUCKED!!! I personally like walmart!!

the rf technology that you are talking about has a range limitation, and the RF tag can be removed on most items. I do not think wal mart is bad in itself, rather it can be bad for a community, because it puts smaller companies out of business, then it has little or no competition.

the radio chip only has a range of maybe 10ft or so, i doubt anyone from walmart would cruise through neighborhoods to scan houses, finding out what people own.
i personally think the actual stores suck, they are never clean, aisles are always messy and whats the point of having 30 checkout lanes when you only have 4 people working them.
the prices they offer, however are pretty competetive, if i want to buy something from walmart, i shop online.

I surely have a Wal-Mart about 3 blocks from the position I stay. i bypass there so typically the staff who guy the go out doors do not even seem at my receipt any extra. they only wave us on. i have had some truly undesirable memories there, many times with the staff. I once went there searching for a stylus for my Palm Pilot. I requested the guy interior the electronics branch if she knew in the adventure that they'd any. She stated "A WHAT??" So I pulled out my palm pilot and stated "A stylus for this" and that i mimicked writing with one. She regarded at me again and stated "Oh, one in all those plastic pen issues?" I stated "certain, one in all those" She stated, "we do no longer have them." of route, I also had pretty a lot the precise communication with someone in acceptable Buys. a lot for the "geek squad" hehe
