Back in high school I read this biography called "Hammer Of the Gods" on Zeppelin and they are Alchemy symbols. I am sure they have some significant meaning. All I know is Jimmy Page was known to dabble in the occult alot. He was so into it that he bought a castle that used to belong to Aleister Crowley and many of his artifacts (Crowley was a well known satanic priest in the old days).

They were magic occult symbols either Cabbalistic in origin or from a little know magic alphabet.. At least thats the way it seems to me. lol
