How can a man just stop talking to a woman he dated for over a year? No emails, no phone calls, or anything.

If he really loved her could he do this to her? Would it be too painful for him to just call to end things? And if he wanted to end things, why not have the decency to send an email at the least?

Can a man have a relationship with someone for that long and really not have feelings?

If he is still interested on you, he definitely wont do somethng like that so move on girl and dont wait for him to come back and if he does after a week or a month, tell him that ur not stupid and you have feelings too that he should consider. Tell him to face the consequence of what he has done. Make him suffer for him being an asshole.

It depends on why the relationship ended I suppose. I certainly could do it for the right reason. Maybe it's just cause I'm an azzhole though.

My best friend's girl of 3 years cheated on him with his business partner AND his girl, and he pretty much cut off every line of communication. She still calls him, but he answers the phone maybe 1 out of 10 times.

I call that the silent treatment and selective hearing. He probably got frightened of commitment. OR! He will call when he is ready. Maybe things happened that interfered with him contacting you. Yes they can be in a relationship and not speak for a while. It may be that he is out of town or he just maybe having fun somewhere and didn't get to call you. There has to be a true legitimate answer that he only can answer.

it is easier for a man to walk away and not look back. they do not possess the the caring heart of a woman. do not take it personal. just remember, you are the better person because you possess the power to love over and over again. it takes one to forget one and your real true love is waitng out there somewhere trying to find you.....good luck

Men don't take things as personally as women. They tend to become detached as quickly at they attach. They are also easily frightened, and don't know how to handle feminine emotions properly. Therefore, they run away when things are difficult.

sounds like he did end the relationship...just not in the way you wanted it to end. not saying that it was the right way either. some men just want to avoid things like this!

Yes, I guess he can; he's doing it right now. Obviously he has other interests....like another girlfriend. Scratch him off of your "boyfriend" list and move on. If he happens to call in the near future, tell him you're not interested.

He's a jerk, just forget him ASAP. Of course, the other possibility is that he has been abducted by Al Qaeda and can't get to the phone?

well, it is difficult to understand...your mind kept on asking why? that maybe is the sign that he wanted to forget everything because he cannot have the guts to face the problem...he is not worth the time anyway...
