Because it makes us feel better about our appearance, more confident and we seem prettier with it, I know that men prefer the natural look and if make up is applied properly then it will appear natural!

I don't think it's a matter of them really liking it. Women have been stereotyped from the very olden days to have to look beautiful. Even the Egyptian queens and other women used cherry juice to tint their lips.

There is alot of reasons for different people like for most its kinda like peer pressure cause you know sence every one else is doing it (even a few guys) they think they should do it to.
for some its cause they might have some facial issues (acne, scars etc...)
And mostly is cause they want to look beautiful, younger, older etc...

Because they are afraid of the way they look naturally is not good enough... Society sets a certain status-quo.

i personally dont like it. maybe mascarra but thats it. i just cleanse my face morning and night and that leaves me with spotless toned skin i dont wanna hide! i love having a fresh, straight off the beach look (coz most of the time it is haha)
