my husband is claiming bankruptcy on all his credit cards - only one of them has both our names on it. wondering if he can do that without my consent.

Absolutely! And even though your name IS not on his other credit cards you are responsible for the debt. When you get married HIS debt becomes YOUR debt. ALL of it. Welcome to marriage. If he can't pay off a debt, guess who the credit card company can come after? Yep..you.

AHAHAHAHA. This is revenge for all those men who get nailed with child support and alimony payments. How does it feel to have the tables turned on you? hahaha

oh yes did to my ex wife on her house when she got awarded to her in divorce she wouldn't refinance so bam hit her with it oh and you can select what you want bankrupt i had a car i was paying for and it didn't effect it none.... it's only fair what do you call child support answer bankruptcy lol ah how the tables can turn
and yes even the one with your and his name on it thus my house had both names so she is homeless and credit shot for 7 years too lol one of my loving gestures of a loving husband lol

yes he can...
however you can try contacting the company to be spared the downfall. Some things you can elect to keep off the brankruptcy with permission. Other things not...make the call and find out.

It depends on the State your in, but yes I think he can because he is the head of the household.
