Different printers have different options when you go to print so it is hard to give you a precise answer. It sounds like you are doing everything right but check and see if your printer has an Options button as well as the Properties one. Mine is down in the bottom left hand corner of the Print dialogue box.

If yours has, check to see if it has a check box to Allow A4/Letter size paper resizing. If there is no tick in the box next to this option then put one in.

If you have been able to do this, go back to Properties and check to see if there are now more options including Custom, in the Paper size dropdown.

Check your final document in Print Preview to see if you have everything included.

You can do what I used to do in these situations
1- Draw a rectangular in A4 paper in Page Setup and put any thing I want there, then Print this rectangular on A4 and then cut the paper to the proper size
2- Adjust Printer to the size that I want, then got to
File > Page Setup > Paper
and adjust the size that I want
3- Mark me as best answer if you like these
