First let's look at the name Francesca. It can be traced back to the Latin male name Franciscus meaning free. It can also be a derivitive of the name Frances and the male names Fracesc, Francesco, and Francis all basically meaning from France or the Frank. So Francesca means either "the free" or 'from France" or "the Frank". And by the way, the Roman Goddesses of freedom is called Libertas.
The name Kathleen has an interesting history. In Ireland it is a modernization of Caitlin. Caitlin is the Gaelicized form of the Anglo-Norman name Katherine. Katherine is originally Greek. It has a few possible origins.
It could come from the Greek name Aikaterine. It could also come from the earlier Greek name Hekaterine, which came from the word hekateros which means "two of". It could also derive from the name of the Greek Goddess Hekate whos name comes from hekos, "far off".
The Romans associated it with the Greek katharos "pure" and changed the spelling from Katerina to Katharina. The name Katherine makes it's way throughout Europe via saint's names.
But there have never been to my knowledge a Goddess named either Francesca or Kathleen.
