I'm not a street dwelling youth, but I can tell you why I wear such an outfit. Its a lot faster putting on your wellies if your socks cover the bottom of your pants. Top fashion for the over-50 sheep farmer.

I tuck my tracksuit bottoms into my socks as quickly as I play sport - the clarification being is that my legs are too short for the trousers and that they drag on the floor. So I do it for protection motives and to stop them from getting muddy. sure, i might look stupid, yet I don´t care.

i just want to start off by saying that anything elastic is ugly and it cuts off any type of air supply to your body in my opinion. wow...the last time i ever wore elastic anything pants was when i was in elementary school. i think tucking pants into your socks is totally dorky and it is just one of the reasons why some fads need to totally stay where it belongs. and this applies to jean cuffs inside sneakers. there is just no reasonable accomplishment to this look at all.

im as puzzled as you on this one maybe, they have cut holes in their pockets so they can have a quick pull whilst on the go, so now with not having pockets its where they can put their money and it doesnt fall out, i should shut up now as im wabbling on and my point isnt getting over, sorry for wasting your time.
