Mine is due anyday now and I have just started a diet but am putting on weight rather than losing it!!!!

I gain five pounds before my period. It's water retention.

im due any day now and im having the same trouble so i know how you feel. Exactly how much weight each woman puts on varies from woman to woman.
Personally i have put on 4lbs (bit gutting really as im trying to loose weight too)
I wouldnt feel disheartened about putting weight on even though you are dieting - once you have finished your period you will feel much better for eating healthy. You may still be loosing cm's/inches from your body even though your weight is going up as it is mainly water anyway

For me the weight I put on before my period is water weight...

during your persoid most girls eat chocolate and that! try eating fruit its much more healther and good 4 the skin!! im also on a diet and u will go back to normal after persiod is over u dont stay the same weight so dont worry!

u gain 3-7lbs in weight but this is water retention - jus increase ur water intake, i no it sounds weird but it wrks!neway good luck with the diet - & ud b better starting it about 3 days after u come off cos thats when ur energy levels r rising & ur less likely 2 snack on nice things like choccie & biccies

the weight you are putting on is just extra water all girls get it i do and when i come off my period it goes i have to wear lose jeans has my tummy gets a little swollen dont worry about it

2-3 kg (4-7 pounds) is not unusual for a woman.....remember this
is fluid and will be lost once the menses begins.........

ON THE AVERAGE I PUT ON BETWEEN 4-8 LBS EVERY MONTH IN WATER WEIGHT..ITS SUCKS DOESNT IT??

its only water weight it will go away soon i usually put up a pound or two
