Maybe if you can beat most people, enter a local tournament or have an LTA qualified coach give you a rating(i am not saying have private coaching), then play in tournaments at your standard! A rating of 1.1 is the highest level and 10.2 is the lowest. Beginners will get a rating of 10.2. Its deffinately worth doing to find out how good you really are! People in tennis only really get noticed on performance in LTA tournamants! Good luck!

Well, we don't know who are the 'load of ppl', are they all top 100 in the nation (for junior tennis)? or are they all pros. I am assuming you're playing junior tennis, therefore, if you live in the US, you should start participate in more USTA tournaments to get your ranking, and if you really can play and get to something like top 10 in the nation, I'm sure your coach will then recognize that you can play. visit www.usta.com, get a membership and register for some tournaments if you live in US. And good luck.

go to a place to play tennis ans watch people serve and do other things. once you see how they do it you try it. for the ground strokes and volleys try to get a ball machine at your tennis place. then practice this every day if you can. it will take a while but you should see improvements. as for overheads have someone feed them to you.

sometimes you have to show off your skills, but don't be too big headed. Practice and show people how dedicated you are. Happy tennis playing!

yes they will see you at showcases. if not, put some video of you playing up. other than that, you are better off asking your coach for help.

Practice, haven’t you seen the movies where the dude practices his butt off and ends up getting mvp? RUDY, I think is the name of one of those movies. If you end up great, you don’t need to say anything about it, your playing will say it all for you.
PRACTICE A LOT!!!
