In my opinion, you need to talk to someone who will be there who is a real physical presence. I know that it might be hard, but a therapist who deals with people in your situation might be the best way to go. You can't always tell if the people you are talking to online are honest and really have their degree in therapy. Professionals are there to help. I wouldn't trust someone whom I have never met with my medical needs. And, even though you might not think so, you do have medical needs. I'm not saying that you're the bad guy, because you're not, and you should NEVER feel that you are, ever. It's NOT your fault in any way shape or form, at all. But you do need some help to get past the issues that you now have as a result of your tragedy. I think that you need a real life person who has delt with people in your situation before. You might not always get that with someone online. And who knows, once you talk to a counselor, someone who is in the know, THEY might be able to direct you to a GOOD online support group that can be trusted. Perhaps even a circle of people who have been in your situation and can be your suport even as you support them. In time, you will heal, though the scars will never go away. But you have to be willing to talk to someone who can help you, and not hide behind cyberspace. ^_^

HI! I'm a rape victem and from my own expereience, the only thing that would really help you is reall therapy. take some time off and do it because you should care about yourself above all others. most people need it in order to move on and become victems of other kinds of abuse. there is a pattern with these things and only therapists know how to get people out of this vicious cicele.

I would get in touch with a Crisis hotline first!
Then, have "them" direct you to a site.
A lot of times, people will go to a site and it will be invaded by a lot of simpletons, who think they are being "cute", and really be sarcastic and hurtful to some one that is really needing help. So, I would rely on the Rape Help Line in the Yellow Pages, to be directed to a secure site, where only they will allow people on, who are in need of help and maybe they can help over the internet.
If the site isnt a "secure" site, then I wouldnt put much stock into it...
I wish you well..
Jesse

you should signal a confidentiality contract once you bypass to a therapist. The therapist may ask to talk to both you and your mom before they communicate to you on my own purely so that they could get a experience for what's incorrect with you yet after that they are going to talk to you on my own. they could't tell your mum and dad some thing except they imagine that you're a right away probability to your self or others. they're going to bypass over this with you once you meet with them. on-line checks are bullshit. i do not care how precise you imagine they're, do no longer take them heavily. they could't diagnose you, and for the list, neither can a therapist. you'll pick to ascertain a psychiatrist in case you want a analysis for some thing.
