Give it up..you are fighting a losing battle. I suppose there are different experiences; but I used to have wireless and I had nothing but problems with it...it kept breaking the connection or someone was using my signal. I finally converted it to cable...and I stopped having problems with it. If you live in a heavily populated area, then it is a problem. I doubt it is because you are in a different room...but possible. You may have to experiment with it to find out if it makes a difference. Try moving it different distances...then contact your service provider and see if they can correct the problem. Good Luck!

Unfortunatley wireless is astill an infant technology, so there will always be problems at the moment, I reccomend making it as easy as possible for the signals to get from your machine to the dLink, for example opening the doors & windows in the way. You could also move you machine closer to the dLink, but this is only really feasible if you have a laptop. You can always buy a bigger arial for you card, this will improve the signal.

Point it towards your room or place up higher treat it like a TV aerial you have to tweak to get a good signal.
Move the pc around your room too maybe one spot is brilliant.
