yes sweetie that's normal, and a bit uncomfortable i know. your pelvis will also start to become looser making room for baby....and so your hips might be sore.
elevate your legs, and rest...just relax! you almost there!!!

Everyone's body is different and we all labor differently. If you are up and moving around and the contractions don't stop, then I don't' think they'll be Braxton Hicks.
If you have concerns, give your doc a call. That's what he/she is there for.
It's better to call and check or go and get checked at the hospital if you have concerns instead of waiting around and possibly having the baby at home or on the way to the hospital.
Make sure to be drinking enough fluids in the heat too. Sometimes that can bring on contractions if you are dehydrated too.
Best of luck. Doesn't sound like it's going to be too long now!

you need to start counting them and timing them.. if they last more than 45 seconds and are less then 5 minutes apart and they dont subside when you get up and walk around, you are probably not having braxton hicks but instead are in the first stage of actual labor.. some women go thru the first stage of labor with little to no pain at all.. its better to be safe then sorry :)

Change your activity level. If you're sitting, get up and walk around for bit. It it subsides, its BH. If not, time them and when they're regularly 4-5 min apart, go to the hospital and have that baby! Braxton Hicks are VERY normal. :) God bless!

yes that is very normal at 38 weeks. Just keep a watch that it is not true labor. I did that every day for a week before giving birth. good luck to you and your new little one.

what the others have said is exactly right....
you can alleviate some of the cramping by drinking lots of water.... it will increase your amniotic fluid and reduce the severity of the contractions.
sounds like you're on your way to having a little one soon! good luck and God bless!
