someone called me a chocolate woman how should i react?

That depends, was it said in a derogatory or offensive sounding manner? Was it an adult or a child? I have been called chocolate several times by several different people. I had a close friend (she was white) who called me chocolate because of my complexion. I had no problem with that (I love my complexion and it is as smooth as a chocolate bar!). I have also met a small child who has had race explained to him in terms that he could relate to that have asked me if I was chocolate, I was not offended (he was kind of cute actually). I also dated a Japanese guy (he was so fine it was unreal) who use to refer to me as his "coco queen". I was really good with that as it was usually during "happy" moments.
I guess it's all in how it was put forth and how you chose to take it.

Who said it, a guy? What color was this person? Sounds to me you need to decide if it sounded negative! If it does not, mess with your self esteem, what difference does it make? Hold your head up, walk proud, and smile, feel good about it, you must have made an impression in that person's mind! Be positive,you need not be concerned no matter what was meant! BE THAT WOMAN, MS. CHOCOLATE BEAUTY! it is alright!

Some people are lame.....they probley meant it as a compliment, if not screw them. Call them something, Mocha mix, meat loaf, candle wax, vanilla bean, taco, something really weird and maybe they will see how dumb they were.

just simply don't listen to them,think and look at those people who are more unlucky than you like those who are blind or crippled, who can not see, walk or talk at all.you are too lucky compare to them,that's how i react when somebody do the same to me...
