Tumble dry there is no heat- works to get some of the Wrinkles out- I never dry clothes on high heat nor do I let them dry complete in the dryer, it will shrink them- You Jeans will be two sizes smaller if you do this, and cotton shirts will do the same- Tumble them with heat for 5 or 6 minutes, shake out as many wrinkles first, let tumble, then put them on Hangers to dry- button all buttens, straighten the collars , the hang dry. A dryer is the worst enemy your clothes can have.

low is a cool setting, will take longer to dry. check your garments wash care instructions, if they say do not tumble dry, don't put it in, they will shrink. Cotton high is a hot setting, use this for your jeans & socks, etc.

tumble dry low is for delicate fabrics like ladies underwear and silk shirts and that kind of stuff. cotton high is for most all other items ,jeans ,towels, socks ,etc.etc.

Cotton high will be a much hotter setting. What are you drying? If it's just cotton shirts, then go for cotton high.
