This is an Ocean of Knowledge. People should answer specifically to provide good and nice information to others. So that not only us but the whole world can make use of it. Sometimes you also have a need of knowing something. At that time this site may help you a lot. So m sincere request is that everyone should post good questions and should give appropriate answers. I've been wondering about this, myself. It was amusing at first, but after a while you get tired of having to get past the crude, rude, and ugly remarks. I spend more time reporting abusers than I do answering questions. There seems little point in having guidelines when kids, and creeps, use Answers as their chat room. Those who are knowledgeable won't stick around long to provide the free service while Answers is flooded with junk and filth.

Because not eveyone has a money-grabbing attitude, and are willing to share their knowledge with others. Yahoo Answers is the type of site you use to learn and to teach, not to make money.

well i do cos im getting paid to sit at work and do naf all, so in a way im getting paid to answer these questions!

because it makes yahoo more recognised, the more users they have the more spoonsorships they will ahve and reccomendations, with this they can expand further and become the best in the world.
