Well, it wasn't exactly a slogan. It was more of a motto. I heard it from the movie "Galaxy Quest". In one part one of the actors said, "Never Give Up. Never Surrender".
I've made it my own personal motto. I can't begin to count the number of times it has helped me in dealing with health problems. Sometimes it has seemed nearly impossible to find medicine to help me. But I have never given up. (It's a lot better than giving in to depression).

It's actually not a slogan, more of a life lesson.
No one thinks as much about what you do as you do.
It is something great to think about whenever you're embarassed or feel that you have done something stupid, it's good to remember that you are the only one replaying the event over and over in your head. No one else cares.
That is unless you're famous, then EVERYONE cares. But I am not famous so I know that no one really cares.
You only live once. Quit worrying!

I saw a clipping in a free arts/culture type newspaper in Seattle (where I used to live so I got this paper every week) and it said 'Funky Summer Madness' which inspired me to write a poem. I was 17 at the time, so summers were the essence of life, and the poem was about a boyfriend I'd had who I'd loved very much (or as much as you can at 17), and I included the poem in a final project for my creative writing class and got a big fat 'A' on the project. One of my favorite poems :)

"One Day At A Time" - We all have 24 hours in a day. Yesterday is gone, and tomorrow isn't here yet, and when tomorrow comes its today. So, in essence we all only have today. Make the best of it today and live your life "One Day At A Time".

Actually, I have two, and they fit together:
Goodwill Industries: Believe in the power of work.
Robert Tonner Doll Company: Believe in the power of play.
Of course, they are both right!!!
