Hmm, there is more than one way to hack a computer system
Stay away from attempting to infultrate via a remote station until you really know what your doing.
Best option would be to attempt direct access at the terminal in the school, how you get exclusive time on the machine is your problem, might involve hiding in a cupboard for a few hours and dodging the janitor.
If you can install a free key logger and let it run for a couple of days you should be set, but remember to uninstall it when your done.
Alternatively you could study your *** off like me so you dont need to hack computer systems and change your grades.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
You are dim-witted. Now I'm going to explain to you and all the other 12 year olds that get this idea in their heads that they can "hack" into their school and change their grades why it doesn't work.
First: BACKUPS. Don't you think your teacher/principle/network administrators will realize that your grades have changed? Don't you think that teachers keep paper copies of their grades? Don't you think the grade databases just might be backed up daily and stored on tapes? The answer to all of these questions is "yes". Now, knowing that, do you know how long it would take them to realize something is wrong, and change it back? It would vary, but my best guess is anywhere from 5 mins to an hour.
Now that the data is back to normal, lets pretend I'm the principal.
"Gee, I wonder who is responsible for changing Johnny Smith's grades?"
"Who should I go talk to first about all this?"
These aren't particularly difficult questions to answer...a 5 year old could do it. So please, do yourself a favor and forget about it.
PS. It's SASI...not SASHI - get a clue.

believe me when I say....although it is not impossible, it is very very very hard to do this. why? well for 1 the program shashi may not even be connected to the internet, it may just be on the school systems lan, thus meaning that you would have to be connected to the schools network system in the school to be able to even try to access it. If I'm wrong about that.....and I could be...it's very late and I'm really tired, but
if they are anything like my old highschool, they constantly change the passwords and access rights and keep it monitored closely and record all changes. So if you even did get into it and change your grades, they would know about it/you would get caught.
I guess you should have paid a bit more attention in school and tried studying.

well.. im sure your school is using a large bandwith, numerous firewalls, etc.
try to download some hacking tools in the internet.. see if it works..
coz i cant help you on that.. i can do a hacking in a sense of using screenshots, keyloggers.. pings, etc on a simple computer but i think it would be hard to hack a school server.

Not only is this illegal, but it's kind of.. somewhat.. hard.
Plus, I bet you didn't even find the root server's IP.
