i think that tactically England have had no imagination in recent years. We seem to believe that just because we are England we should perform well, however our players cant seem to cope with the public and media pressure in the same way as our international counterparts. Not one of our midfielders or forwards (with the exeption of stephen Gerrard perhaps has the "do or die attitude" for fear of failing. Soooo we stick to the same old boring game plan "Well if we dont concede a goal at least we will not lose" and that makes us very easy for any opposition to read and although Macedonia are not a hot team it would not be a major suprise if they beat us. Unless of course a new manager will inspire a better forthright tactical performance.

I dont think Steve Mclaren will change much from Svens era, but with a new,more inspirational captain to lead them and some younger players such as Lennon,Wright-philips,Luke Young and Walcott, England could be a well drilled outfit with great times ahead, they should brush MKD aside with no problems.

I think the problem with England is we are 2 unpredictable in our play.What i mean is when we start playing these games when the season starts you dont know whether your gonna get a good performance or one which is laczadaysical.On the other side of the coin there are a lot of countries that have caught the "big" countries up,just look at the world cup!So 2 answer your question i think we will but u never know....................

England will win, but only about 2-0. It was 2-2 only because of Seaman in goal.

If England plays as it can and don’t go with overconfidence it will win very easily the FYR-Macedonia!
If the players believe that they will play an easy game they might find themselves in a surprise!
(The country is called FYR-Macedonia or Slavic- Macedonia; don't confuse it with real Macedonia which is in Greece)
