To an extent. You can't change into a werewolf but it is said your soul can take the shape of a wolf and what not. It's called Lycanthropy if you want to research it. And it's the type of vampire your looking at. I don't know of any one that sucks blood but there is this thing called an energy vampire. You know that one person who every time you are with you get tired sluggish or sore, and they are always full of energy. They are often an energy vampire i don't know a lot but that's the general idea I've read.

No, of course not! But, there are people who engage in blood sports (as previously noted), people who *think* they are vampires, and those who consider themselves "energy" vampires. Seems I've heard something about a real medical condition that mimics something about the myth of vampires.

there must be at least some truth - every culture has stories about shape-shifters so there is (or was) probably something similar. maybe they're werewolves etc. as we know them, or maybe something that just "became" them as the stories were handed down

vampires are real in the sense that there are people that actually consume human blood as far as the supernatural ones no i dont think so but if there are someone please infect me
