Wow. Words like "every" and "always" are pretty all-encompassing. Its unfair to say that any population is always a certain way. There are many exceptions. I happen to be a Christian, but I do realize that many many "Christian" founded countries have fought wars and had problems, including my own. (I live in NC, USA) As a matter of fact, America's first war- before it was even America- was because of religious oppression. The US has problems to this day because of cultural differences between races, religions, sexual preference, etc.

Your question opens the door for many biggots to step through. Close that door and take a hard look in the mirror before making sweeping comments about others.

1) When Muslims are ill treated they fight back... they cant be kept servile too long.

2) As a result of oppression and lack of innovative ways to deal with it, some have taken to radical religious ideology. Even a small number of these are highly dangerous because they know no fear and do not care if they lose their lives believing they will get rewarded for fighting oppression.

3) Absence of dialogue over issues which are genuinely problematic. World paints Muslim related problems with a single white wash... it is not always about religious identity. But we give the radical elements chance to capitalize on these issues and become stronger by refusing to resolve these problems in a civil manner. We indirectly undermine secular and saner leadership among Muslims. Palestine, Kashmir, Iraq, Afghanistan are classic examples.

Hmm. Wow. Geez, buddy, who peed in your corn flakes today? That's a pretty ignorant statement all around. Maybe, as the case is in France, the Muslim population has been treated like pariahs and second class citizens for a long time by the government and by people in general. People of any stripe tend to get sick of that after a while.

SIMPLE MATH..

religious society + political, and social discord +lack of employment opportunities + extremist's beliefs that they are serving God's will by blowing up everything and that this will grant rewards in the afterlife + guns and bombs available everywhere + anything you could possibly think of that you might enjoy is likely NOT allowed there + sitting on a humongous pile of money buried in the ground as oil and having the world by the balls and not knowing how to manage it all = PROBLEMS

actually its any country with a cult or what most people call religion. Blind faith is used by people in charge(rich bankers usually) to get the people to do their dirty work in the name of whatever god they made up.
