Can you give me some tips? My best friend whom I haven't seen in 5 yrs is visiting and what are some fun ideas

I have off work for a week and she will be staying with me and my husband. I would like to have a great time and I don't want to seem boring oir run out of things to do. Any ideas would help.

why don't you go check out some of your old favorite haunts -- back when the two of you were pal-ing around together - where did you hang out? What about getting some of your old friends together, if they are local - have a little party. Got any old photo albums to peruse? What about movies you saw together, music you used to listen to - dig them out, rent them; do something silly -- go to the dollar store and buy some kid toys and hang out at the beach - go to the zoo, go out to lunch. then there's the old stand by - go shopping, the movies. just go places where you can be yourselves, and when your husband is along, that he doesn't feel like he is invading on your territory -- include him too. have time when it's just you & your friend too. you'll find that the time is going to pass by so fast, so it's good that you're thinking ahead! have fun! ps .....if you two are creative - you could take a one day class together, like at the craft stores, or a scrapbooking store -- you could make each other a scrap book to take home.

first of all how old is she? depending on where you live sightseeing is usually good if she has not been where you live or has been away for a while. The state parks are usually good and sometimes you may even see some things you have never seen before too. Then you can take her out to night life if you usually do that sort of thing. Probably she would most enjoy doing things where you and she will have a chance to visit and catch up with each other. She probably did come to see YOU.
