Today we have many American consumer product, and one of the is their view on politics an political means for action in society.
Ever thing based on American politics is based also on media marketing of their political views, approval percentages, and money as a main drive in the society.
So long as the main drive of the society is money and profit, you can not be an active voice in modern political society, but if by any chance you get some other main driving force in the society like survival, war , natural catastrophes, then you will see that on top are coming politicians with some brain matter, the resolvers of problems, and those Grey politician that always are thinking only in money and media are not so proficient in resolving problems simply because now you can not solve it with money.
And they become ballast, not needed.
I only hope so that we one day finaly in leave money dominate society and go to humanistic knowledge oriented society.

Ideas are the quick sand of politics!
With NO money you very little for a chance. With some money, thats millions in the fed arena, you some chance. Local politics can be done ina small town on shoe leather and sweat! First you need a platform that beats the competiton. Without that you have no chance!

It's not that you need the money to be active in politics. You need the power. You get the power by having the money. Or by having the many. If you want to be active in politics you should consider joining or organizing a group whose cause you beleive in.

Politics is about power. Money is power in our society. You can't wield power without money, at least not in any sense that the people who have authority can understand.
You can, however, speak your mind and do what you think is right. That will unsettle politicians more than anything else. And that will, eventually, upset the status-quo.

The Clintons did very well for themselves, starting without much money. For many, politics is the road to wealth.

Sure. Most politicians aren't what we consider "wealthy" (well they weren't when they started). Nixon was ashamed to release his income tax records because they showed that he was deep in debt.
Politics is about ideas: convincing others your ideas are better and getting people who share the same ideas to vote.

yes, you can....will you make a difference? no, but every small thing adds to the pile, and as the burden of a peaple making demands increases change will come, most peaple say they cant change anything so why try, but I cant ever forget the young man in china who stood down a tank, he did not change the world, he didnt actually change anything, but he gave himself a voice through action, and he gave his cause pride and integrity. if but for one moment in his life....he was truely valid and god was watching. so start a revolution doll!!!!!!!!!
