I only used 1GB and and it says theres only 1.99GB capacity. I just formatted it and reinstalled windows.

Yes! Dale P may be right.
You can using third party software like Partition Magic 8.0.
You can re-size partition, rename drive name, change format types ( FAT-FAT32-NTFS ), reformat....etc. if you are sure of what you are doing. By do so you save you some time of going over all the setup again.

Mybe you have formatted the hard drive by an old method like DOS format or something like that. Such methods don't support hard drives higher than 2.0 GB and format them into 2.0 GB. Use NTFS or Fat32 format by using Windows bootup and setup cd.

What format did you use? Did you accidentally use FAT16 which would limit you to 2 gigs? If so, may have to reformat using FAT32 or NTFS

Also make sure the hard drive size is recognized properly in BIOS

If you have both a C: and D: drive, then your C: partition is probably too small. You should combine them using FDISK at the boot CD's command prompt.

u must have used the hard disk to its capacity. uninstall programmes u dont require & delete unnecessary files

May be your harddisk drives was filled with ur files... delete the unnecessary files which u dont want!!!!!
