They are omnivores, though most mixes that people feed are primarily vegetables and grains. You can also feed them things like broiled chicken.

I had as hamster when I was a kid. He ate bugs ocaisonally, like moths or spiders if one was in his cage. So, I'd say they're omnivores.

Hamsters normally only eat veg, but they will eat other stuff as well. So even though they sometimes eat non-veg things, just give them veg.

Hamsters ARE ominivores.....they can eat a wide variety of foods and honestly prefer to!!!

i had a hampster once, she gave birth, and the next day ate all the babies!!
