I went swimming 4 times yesterday in my pool.
Once, I placed the sprinkler hose near the pool, turned it on and the tiny little water droplets that were splashing in the pool was REALLY cooling! Like a delicate shower.

It was really pretty too, the way it looked last night with the pool light on and the droplets hitting the water. It looked like little diamonds!

I never did that before. I might just go outside later and do it again tonight!

I live in Dallas. The heat index was 104. Real temp...101.

it was only a 107 degrees yesterday and i was out in it in the morning, but later i was in my home, with the AC on, it stays on all the time.

oh yeah i live in AZ. to me, 105 ain't bad, i rather have 100 degrees then those 50's and 60's they are too cold for me. i look forward to summer every year.

drink a lot of water, as well as, as you use the fans, and if the fans don't work for you. put on your swim clothes, put wet towels on you, let the fans blow on you and it will cool you down. good luck

There's no escape when you gotta work in it. One has to make a living, and I work Sundays. Today wasn't bad, only 102 in Riverside Ca.

What heat? It was hardly 25° here.
I have no AC or blinds. I just make ice cubes and drink coke.
