I wouldn't worry about what other people say. As long as you know that your love is strong. Then congratulations for finding true love when you are young. I believe these people are jealous that you and your husband have found soul mates with each other. I wish you good fortune in what life has to offer.

I'm not married I'm to young, but one of my mothers best friends and my grandmother and grandfather were high-school sweethearts and are married still. As well as my moms best bud. Don't let what anyone else say discourage you married because of love. I always wanted to do that i think it is awesome. A lot of people can't be with just one person that is why divorce is so high. I met my boyfriend when i was in 11th grade i was 16 he had already graduated but we have been together ever since and we love each other very much. Screw everyone else you have something special. Not a lot of people get to experience that. Good Luck and Stay Happy!

My husband and I met in high school...He was 17 and I was 14. He went on to college while I was still in high school. We married when I was about to turn 19 and we just celebrated our 13th wedding anniversary. We have a house, mini van and 4 beautiful kids. Just a normal happy life. Whos to say when the right one can come along? Maybe young...maybe old.

My husband and I have been married for 6 yrs, and got married when he was 17, and I was 18. We have been together for 7 yrs. He was my high school sweetheart. We dont have any kids. We are very happy, and honestly I couldnt amagine how my future would be with out him. None of our friends or family thought we would last, and were so mad when we wanted to get married, but we showed them that we could make it work, because we loved eachother. :) Think positive!

I've often heard people are different after highschool. I've changed a great deal, as have many of my friends. If you're able to grow WITH that person, then I'm sure it'll be a lasting relationship. If you ever find yourself seeking freedom or liberation from the neverending, yet sublime, situation you've cornered yourself into... you may be up the creek.

I met my husband on the internet and we went on a date and it was the worst date of all dates. I started dating his friend and we hated each other then we became friends and went on to get married and have been happy for 5 years now. So anything is possible.

I met my husband when I was 18. We have one child and our marriage is great. Don't listen to people who tell you it won't last.
What kind of people are you meeting anyway that say that right when they meet you?! That's really kind of rude to make such harsh judgements about a couple they don't know...
