Interest in most legends have tailed off for many people. I'm still convinced they exist! Just like dragons! (Come on now, if they didn't how come so many different people of different cultures have seen them?) Leprechauns are real too... I have scrab marks from fighting with one of them last night!

There are real mermaids.
One in particular caught my attention last year...little baby milagro.
What a doll, with the rarest birth defect of them all,Sirenomelia...
The little mermaid from Peru.

I can only envision them as cartoon characters, certainly not Daryl Hannah.
I think it would be lovely if they did exist. Imagine how quickly everyone would want to learn how to swim.....lol
