I think predicting the future is actually very common, much more so than people think. All you need is enough knowledge.

Take for example: scientists doing reapeated experiment in a lab. These scientists after a few tries start to understand the basics of what is happening and why. After enough tries, they can probably predict what is going to happen without too much effort.

Same goes for everything else in the world. When you tip over a glass of water, you try to catch it because you can predict that it'll probably spill and get your floor wet. On your drive to work or school, you probably avoid certain streets cause you can predict that they'll be crowded.

Is it magic? Of course not!

When you have more and more information about people and the world, you become better at understanding and predicting what'll happen.

How come predictions never feel so logical?

Many times people subconciously think and predict. Other times the topic is so normal to you that you don't even have to think about it to know what'll happen.

example: worried that it'll rain on your vacation. It's much more likely that you'll have this worry during winter, and there's a good reason for that, because it's more likely to rain in winter! If it comes true, you simply used a shortcut logical method of thinking.

example: worried that you're sister is going to crash the car. These are usually based on your experiences with her. She's probably a bad driver? irresponsible? On the other hand, you might never worry about your other sister. Why? chances are because she's more mature, ect...

A lot of times these predictions feel like psychic experiences because people simply did not think about why they made the prediction.

Am I saying there's no such thing as magic, or spiritual energies? No, there could very well be, BUT I think most predictions and "psychic experiences" we encounter are purely based on what knowledge we have of the world.

I was about to embark on a long car journey with my girlfriend. I had a vision of a large truck blocking the road, but the image was sort of clouded and unclear. I immediately told my girlfriend and several of her friends about my vision.

Hours later we were driving through a wooded area and we encountered an area of dense fog on an otherwise clear day. This triggered me to immediately hit the brakes and we managed to stop just before a tanker truck which was fully blocking both lanes. My girlfriend was amazed.

I have had many such experiences but none were so dramatic as the above, and few were documented by forewarned witnesses.

Never have I been able to predict things at will, they just happen and are very real, but usually of little practical significance.

.."all the time!" .... Predicting one's very own destiny or perhaps the destiny activities of the worldwide is straightforward! each physique predicts their very very own destiny to a pair quantity, yet maximum do no longer understand or settle for this. .... The relatively problematic section approximately predicting any destiny, is in understanding that each think approximately time (previous, recent,& destiny) all have 'option paths'. those paths all matter on a chain of activities the two taking place or no longer taking place in the previous that one predicted destiny.: as an occasion:: you may 'anticipate'. that if I carry a loaded gun to my head & squeeze the set off, my brains would be splattered all over the wall. yet, if I take place to be exterior then there is not any wall for my brains to be splattered throughout. .. i might nevertheless be very ineffective, yet your prediction might have long previous a distinctive way. OR, as yet another option result,, think I did precisely via fact the prediction reported & I occurred to be interior on the time? If I held the Butt to my cheek & squeezed the set off, i might stay! Do you notice what i'm saying?? .... the actually prediction of any destiny is the straightforward section, yet except activities take place/do no longer take place to steer as much as that, the predicted destiny could have an distinctive & unexpected result!! ........... an suggestions-blowing occasion of how the destiny can & does have those 'possibilities', is shown in an episode of "celebrity Trek", the unique sequence.' ... The episode is named "city on the fringe of continuously."

Seriously though...you are saying other than deja vu?
I do know of a "prophecy" that came true...just not as was expected. The church I attended as a teenager lost several members, they left to attend and become members of another church. These people were like family to everyone, and naturally we were saddened. One minister came to do a revival and he said God revealed to him a vision. In this "vision" God pointed out that everyone that had left the church was once again back with us...sitting in their old seats. The preacher told us that those people would be back. We ASSUMED he meant as members of the congregation. 5 years later, the pastor's wife was dying. The church held a prayer vigil and memorial service for her. EVERY single one of the members that left came back that night...and every single one of them sat in their old seats.

And that is the closest thing to future predictions as I have ever come.

I predicted MLK would die in Memphis. That really did't take a psychic flash, though.
