I don't think you can single any nation out but I have always admired the ingenuity and resiliency of the Japanese people. That country was flattened and demoralized after WWII with very little in the way of natural resources. Not only did they survive but in many ways have advanced beyond other nations in a very short time.

If you're talking about the majority of the population, you just can't say US. I mean, a lot of university students can't even point where America is on the world map. There are so many people that still believe in creationism, and the president, well, I think he says enough.
I would go for Switzerland. or a Scandinavian country
I know a lot of youn won't like this answer, but that's how it is. I also apologise for generalising the Americans to the stereotypical Redneck, and I apologise to the people from NY and other states that are not like this

I will back up Marcucio, Japan by far. They are very advanced in inner stuff like electronic, food, and houses. As far as war, they dodge it as much as they can. They actually have some type of law or rule or oath to themselves not to start one. Their society is much more kind in heart. AND THEIR WORK ETHICS!!!! That is far more better than any other countries. They have extemely good ethics. And they don't allow anyone to own guns in Japan except for police, and only while on duty. Although, I am a country boy, I have to own one for hunting!! HAHAHA.. But I believe Japan is the most clever.

Israel. USA is puppet in his hands. According to history, Jews have been the cleverest nation in the world. The other countries like Switzerland, Canada, Denmark and other developed countries are wise. Bcoz they do not interfere others affairs.

Singapore, because we have survived many years trapped within a neighbourhood of muslim countries who don't have a clue how to fom a proper government. Since we didn't survive using force, unlike Israel, the answer must be our superiod intelligence.
