I used to be so full of energy, i was a regular in the gym, I was losing weight, I was happy. Now I just can be bothered, I have put on weight, none of my clothes fit, everyday I try that I will get up on time, and get back on track, but motivation is evading me. I feel like eating all the time, I am always hungry. I am scared. I am destroying myself.

You could be
a) severely depressed
b) hormone-imbalanced
c) having chronic fatigue syndrome / myofascia pain
d) suffering from fibromyalgia
Find someone non-judgemental to talk to. Perhaps you are very upset about events that have happened recently? Food is not the only 'safe' thing you can seek solace in. Get a book to scribble your thoughts. Keeping all your feelings bottled in your head makes you feel very upset.
Do seek professional help (doctors/therapists) if you feel that your situation is too overwhelming.

I feel like I was the one who posted this question!
You and I need to take action fast. We don't want to wallow in this downward spiral of lethargy and consumption. I started to jog a couple of weeks ago and then stopped. But I swear I'm going back on that trail soon. When the clothes don't fit anymore or when the seatbelt suddenly feels tighter, that's a cause for alarm. Motivation is something you and I need to win this. Get yourself a nice running outfit and spiffy shoes. Look for a scenic jogging trail in your area. Try to get an exercise buddy. Try to eat sensibly and maybe prepare your own food (this could be tough!). My family has a history of diabetes and if I don't do something, I'll be doomed before I even know it. Diet and exercise are two words I hear over and over again but continue to ignore. But we need to pay more attention to it and actually do it!
Good luck and let's hope we both win this battle!

You need some motivation. Make a decision to change! Throw out all junk food from the house and go to the grocery store and buy all healthy foods and light, lower calorie versions of your favorite foods. Buy some excercise videos and work out at home or just go for a walk. See if you can get toguether with co-workers and go walking after work and eventually jogging. Put pictures of girls in bikinis for motivation on the fridge and bathroom mirror. Make a goal and stick to it. You can do this you just give yourself a little push to get started! I also find it helpful to look at success stories online, if those people could do it why can't I? And I did!

See a doctor - now! Sounds like maybe depression or maybe chronic fatigue syndrome. Either way you will be better off if you can get diagnosed and properly medicated or counselled.
Find a person who lives in your town who you can talk to, who can help you get motivated and back on track. Having someone to help you makes any task easier.

Try a NOS energy drink they always give me lots of energy and maybe then youll feel ready to exercise. I hope you feel better:)
Maybe you should get things that are really low in fat, calories or any diet foods, and eat a lot of those snacks instead of heavy meals.

If your like me you are experiencing a chemical imbalance that can be corrected with the right psychiatrist and pharmaceuticals. I have a disease and it is now in check due to the right combination of pills. Do not be ashamed. Just ask for help.
