do they do emissions testing in tx?

I want to get headers for my 06' focus. Just wondering if they do emissions testing in texas?

Yes once a year since the car is new, and you have to put a sticker in the windshiled to prove it. In Houston and Dallas-FT.

I've never had a vehicle tested for emissions as part of the state inspection. That may differ in Houston or a city where they have failed the air quality test.

in the larger citys they might, but out here in the country they dont. we just get stickers and keep on driven ' em. they just slap a sticker on it and out the door we go.
