What is the pay for a project management trainee in chennai?

I'm an MBA -Finance and systems graduate, and ive got a job offer for the post of project Management Executive trainee as i've no work experience as yet. I'd like to know what is the compensation paid for such a post in the industry in chennai city, and in what way would accepting this job impact my chances of getting into mainstream finance later.
